2. Service Description

Cedar & Foam Cleaning Co. provides professional cleaning services in British Columbia, Canada. We coordinate and manage cleaning services for residential and commercial properties.

3. Subcontractor Services

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING SUBCONTRACTORS

All cleaning services provided by Cedar & Foam Cleaning Co. are performed by independent subcontractors. We act as a service coordinator and intermediary, connecting clients with qualified cleaning professionals.

Insurance Disclosure: While we make reasonable efforts to work with qualified subcontractors, we do not guarantee that all subcontractors carry insurance coverage. It is the responsibility of each subcontractor to maintain their own insurance policies, including but not limited to general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance.

By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All work is performed by independent subcontractors, not employees of Cedar & Foam Cleaning Co.
  • Subcontractors are not guaranteed to have insurance coverage
  • Cedar & Foam Cleaning Co. is not responsible for any damages, losses, or injuries that may occur during the performance of cleaning services
  • You may request information about a subcontractor's insurance coverage, but such coverage cannot be guaranteed

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cedar & Foam Cleaning Co., its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of our services or the performance of cleaning services by subcontractors.

This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, personal injury, loss of data, loss of profits, or any other damages, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the property to be cleaned
  • Ensure the property is accessible and safe for cleaning personnel
  • Secure or remove valuable items before cleaning appointments
  • Notify us of any special requirements or concerns before service begins
  • Pay all fees as agreed upon at the time of booking

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due as specified in your service agreement. We accept various payment methods, and late payments may be subject to additional fees. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our refund policy.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Clients may cancel or reschedule services with reasonable notice. Cancellation policies vary by service type and may be subject to fees. Please refer to your service agreement for specific cancellation terms.

8. Service Quality

While we strive to provide high-quality cleaning services, the actual quality depends on the individual subcontractor performing the work. If you are not satisfied with the service, please contact us immediately so we can address your concerns.

9. Property Damage

Any claims for property damage must be reported to us within 24 hours of the service completion. We will work with you and the subcontractor to resolve any issues, but Cedar & Foam Cleaning Co. is not directly liable for damages caused by subcontractors.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
